Sounds good to me... get this thing in production, I have the damn cash in my pocket.... and its either going to burn a hole in it, and end up being spend on useless things... or at the casino... or on airbags...

;)

Aggin, let me know what happens with this... it looks pretty crazy... also while im at it, can you PM me some specs on those dubz you have?

heres the stait scoop been cruisin the car for 4 hours ,got a perty clean steet tune .so far we've run it up to 9psi "pulls nice there" air/fuel ratio's under boost range from 12:1 at light boost and 11.2:1 under heavy throttle and higher boost .

i dont want to tune it any higher since this is an auto on
20' s i don't know how the trany's gonna handle it so were settin the boost for 6psi for the trip to HIN. we'lln keep you posted on the testing in progress 500 ml. should be a good test drive.

This was taken from there site
The turbo kit includes:

4-1 tubular equal length manifold for maximum cylinder scavaging and horsepower

Garrett T25 Turbo to allow for horsepower numbers exceeding 250 whp (turbo upgrades available)

2.25 inch downpipe hooks to stock exhaust location

SF PFM Fuel System to provide the much needed fuel for the extra boost

SF Intercooler: a 19"x7"x3" core with TIG welded aluminum tanks

Mandrel Bent Intercooler Piping powdercoated to any of the 250+ colors we have.

TCC Works Type I Blow Off Valve just for the intimidation factor

Steel Braided Oil feed lines and fittings to privide your turbo with much needed lubrication

3/4" drain line and SF's "no weld" pan fitting bolts directly to the pan

lol, you were hoping for a T3/T4 weren't you? haha...
think it probably could go to a T28 though, that's what my gsx had stock and it's not bad, upgraded to a t3/t4 later, but the t28 spools quick and actually has a nice boost. never been in a car with a t25, but these cars are so light that seems like its the perfect size.

a T28 though, that's what my gsx had stock
2g dsms came with t25 stock.

IMO. yes the t25 does suck...BUT for our application, because the motor is so small..
it actually fits quite nicely. One thing the t25 are notorious for was dropping off power in the 6k RPM range. Which somewhat fits out car stock redline..

a t28 or 16g would actually be good too. However it does flow A LOT more air than the t25... another thing i would take into consideration with bigger turbos is this is this...

on a 2.0 L dohc (dsm motor) a t25 would start spooling @ round 2k and hit full boost by 3k. a a t28 and 16g spools slightly higher... like a couple or hundred rpm higher.. nothing major. Getting into t3/t4 combos/hybrids. My 50 trim started spooling @ 3k and hit full boost around 3800-3900- RPMS...All of those turbos stayed @ full boost until redline with the exception of the t25... so this is what im trying to get at...

with a dinky 1.5L how long are spool times going to change from the above?

Secondly.. with a 6-6.5 Redline.. after the turbo finally does spool.. whats the range of full boost?....4-4.5k to 6k redline?? totally not worth it.

Just some rambling from a DSMer.. dont mind me :D

Hey Redbox I'm a fellow DSMer also. I would rather have a 14b turbo than that T2- small turbo on my XB. At least it dosen't fall on it's face. If it is infact a stock mitsu T25 turbo, I'm gonna try to get the kit without the turbo and use my old 14B I have sitting in my garage :D .

Squirrel i wont be making it this year!
This pic was from last year when my matrix made the 400+ mile trek after being boosted for the first time.

This fuel system works, and it has been tried and tested.
Mike are you going to be doing the fuel rail for this one as well?

How long is the full warranty? (I have a 5 year warranty on my stock turbo, so I would expect something similar)

Do you offer a 3" or 3.25" downpipe?

each wheel w/ tire! I will try to get the xB to the dyno and get some numbers for

those who have been waiting for them!

kit looks really good. i am laughing here reading some of the comments being made by people who obviously have never installed an aftermarket turbo kit. but that's ok, you can't please everyone.

and my opinion on the T25 is that i wouldn't go much bigger with a 1.5l engine. especially when it's running 10.5:1 compression. you can't boost 15psi for a long time without doing some work to the internals. and as far as cutting the bumper support, that is common practice with front mount intercoolers. you have to do it with subarus and a lot of other cars.

also, $3500 is not a bad price for a complete turbo kit. if you add it all up, plus factor in the R&D, it's a good value if it makes 50hp and comes with reliable engine management. some turbos are $3000+ by themselves. like the old garrett T04R. obviously that's much bigger, but still...small turbos are made for small engines. now we just have to see it installed on a few cars to see how it works in everyday use. then we can judge if this kit is good or not.

i think it's a little ironic that you put a turbo kit on an auto tranny with 20s. now you'll be almost as fast as a stock manual transmission xb with stock tires.
