i just got into it with someone there today. they said they can't replace them it's normal wear and tear. go figure, it's the same thing they told me about the f-ing paint on the car. and they said it's common for the tC's seats to spot/stain-- they actually told me not to use fabric cleaner because it would only make the problem worse. cheap butt materials. i hate my dealer.
hey smash.. so basically you're going to have to get an attorney JUST to get your floormats replaced? that's nuts.. try another dealer.. I almost wonder if they are just giving you excuses cuz you're a girl.. i know that would suck, but it sounds like they discount you no matter what..
probably. who knows. not that i can't raise holy hell with the best of them.. but i've tried to remain polite and professional. perhaps that was my mistake. Leesburg Toyota has given me nothing but $hit since day 1 I drove the car off the lot. They're absolutely worthless and I would never again buy a car from them. It's not worth my time and effort to get the crap fixed I'll just pull the carpet portion off the mats and leave the rubber. As for the seats, who knows. Bastards..

smash, your dealer has to replace your matts atleast ONE time

when i got mine replaced, i demanded 06' matts, and the dealer told me i could only have 05 matts, because i drive an 05.

heres a helpful note though.... the 05 and 06 matts are the same size as we all know, but the 06 matts have the rubber insert where your heel goes while driving. this is why i demanded 06 matts

anyways, he refused to give me 06 matts, and i said well f-it, give me the 05 matts, so he ordered them. and about 2-3 weeks later, he handed me 06 matts, and didnt even know they were 06 matts

why did he do this?

well for one, he dont know crap

and two, the only matts scion is making for the tc, are the 06 matts, so it doesnt matter if he said 05 or not, the 05 matts are the 06 matts as well

so raise hell, tell them about scionlife, that usually scares my dealers

ha ha.. thanks for the advice. too bad "mentioning" scionlife (more like coming in with a bible-sized batch of logs from the forum) didn't help in my arbitration case one bit.
