If this was in the city, you can write to the city and tell them a pothole ruined your rims and they will buy you new ones, ive done it here in anhorage.

look at the pics it was both passenger side wheels... plus i got like an 80 pound sub box on my spare. yea the whole fighting the county thing might not work cause they have had a liability sign up for a while but its worth a shot... I gotta check out the whole insurance bit and see if they r covered. its wierd being on 17s again... its felt like its been forever...

 

just because they had a sign, does not relieve them of their duty to protect the driving public.. fact is.. if there was that sign and someone still hit that hole causing massive injuries, you still think that you couldn't hold them responsible? of course you could..

fact is, i bet your county as well as others have standards of what people can "drive over".. and I bet this hole isn't part of that standard..

I'm telling ya, if you got into it, i bet you'd be seeing a big ol' check coming your way.. but it's up to you if you want to fight for what they did to you..

 

Damn....tahts deep. My new set of TRD was hit by a pothole too. I was ____ed. Sorry to hear your loss. Try to fix it.
