so many people complain on this site. 'oh, i want to be the first.' 'im sick of all these tCs, i want to be special' all that stupid crap. how about. its a car. modify them how you wish, if you want.

there are millions of hondas. MANY amazing looking ones. and some that just didnt quite make it. but too many people just flat out say stupid things like, 'oh its a honda, it sucks.' you are a fool if you do. look at a car, find things that you like, if you dont find anything. then DONT SAY ANYTHING, and if you do BE RESPECTFUL. its the same case for all cars.

as far as this tC. its amazing. who cares if it doesnt have the tCs powerhouse. its still a tC, cause thats what they made it look like, and what its called. but seriously. chris rado is doing something with this car thats not really been done before. hes producing an insanely powerful FRONT WHEEL DRIVE vehicle, thats running comperable to rear wheel drive cars. making that power and using it effectively is so much more difficult with FWD. read the article. it explains all.

and learn to cope, you wont be the first. if you are. great, you wont be the last. its called PRODUCTION cars for a reason. theres a lot of them.

 

IT isnt a 4 cyl anymore it is a V6 right? b/c that is waht the 3vz... or whatever plus its rear wheel drive with a ford 9 and a turbo 400(i think) tranny. It sucks

not 3vz. that's what i have. if it were a 3vz, my happy meter would get a boost of one point (check my sig). great engine. but not 1400 capable for all i know. i THINK it's a 3rz and it's front-wheel drive. thats all i THINK...

 

they put a FoRD 9" REAR in there why wouldnt it be RWD then?

Thats what I was gonna say its most likely a Tundra p/u engine in it.. Just like Chris Rado's celica pushing over a 1000hp with a turbo charged Tundra engine..

Still it is nice to see that a TC (factory eng or not) pushing 1400

I bought the issue of Super Street just for the Option DVD they had included in the bag.

 

It's an easy mistake. The 2JZ is pretty popular along with the 3RZ.

 

beats me. good question. but by merely looking at the photo, its almost obvious where the power goes to. just look at the uber-fat front tires and skinny rear donuts on that thing...

 

The engine is the 4-cylinder out of the Tacoma.
It's FWD and the Ford 9" rear is turned backwards or something crazy.
It's controversial because Chris Rado already considers the design obsolete.
The JDM Option video was pretty cool, worth buying the mag for.
It's not "technically" a Scion because its a tube frame with a tC front end, but I appreciate the publicity.

 

this tc was at a show we had out here on sunday called idrc.. it ran a couple of times.. pretty bad but i dont blame the car, the conditions out here at LACR are horrible.. first its an uphill track, ____ty track, and we are around 2000+ ft in elevation.. anyway.. the tc made a pass of 8.9 and 8.8, i didnt hear the other one.. loud as hell too
