well i got a qestion , cause i have an auto i guess since it bads to use your auto like a stick but just curious if im at a stand still like a stop sign and put it in "L" 2nd 3rd d" would i have better take off then i would in "D", cause if i leave it in D it pulls around 45 it think and you can feel it and say if your on the highway going 65 would you put it in 3rd to pass some one or leave it in D?

 

the auto sometimes will downshift sometimes it won't i leave it in d most of the time and just slam it to the floor 9 out of 10 times she will go to 2nd

 

autos shift based on engine load, rpms and throttle imput.

on this particular uphill curve, the transmission would shift between overdrive and the gear under that, so i'd go from neutral handling, to a bit of frightening oversteer and would worry about hitting the cement barrier.

 

any autto transmissions wanna trade for my 5-speed lol

 

Yeah man you should have seen my face when she told me which one she bought. I was at a carls jr with my (now ex) g/f and she was like "yeah were buying a car" "thats cool..what did you buy?" "oh a corolla" "which one?" "the XRS" this is where I go silent "...the S or the XRS?" "XRS" "...6spd?" "yeah" "...sweet..." lol

I doubt she ever has but I have a couple of times haha

It's her DD..she used to have a 2000 chrysler grand voyager..big upgrade lol
