Haha...she got out and ran. The car looks driveable. I wonder why the driver didn't just keep going? I mean, if you're gonna go down that hardcore, might as well go all the way.

It's possible that the car wasn't drivable... one account says it hit a fire hydrant, sending it flying 30 feet. That could be considerable damage.

they ran into a mall to stop by for some treats to cool down and rethink their getaway plan.

they deserve the darwin award, taken that people will kill em, and then give em the award afterwards.

sounds like another stupid person that thinks the stuff on the fast and furious is true/cool. if somebody talks crap, or pulls up next to you and wants to race, you give him/her your phone number and say you'll race them on the track anyday. and if there is no track, you find a road out in the middle of nowhere where nobody drives, and have your friends block off any driveways or side roads. but even that is stupid because the EMTs might take a while to get there. that was just plain stupid of the drivers. I don't know whats up with the cops looking for info on the drivers of the vehicles if they have the license plates, must be more to the story...

^^ I think you need to reword:

If somebody talks crap or pulls up next to you and wants to race, you give him/her the FINGER and tell them to stop watching so much TV.

Hold on!

Ppl....what of the eye witness waiting at the bus stop? If he said the woman came over to check on the hit person, then didn't he see her face?

What you see is what is known, and we just don't know any more than what has been reported in several contradictory news reports.

I have Google news flagged for updates, so when there is more info, we will likely have it not too much later.

Moreless why no one ran and caught her. I feel I would have.

However, once the Suby driver knows enough to put two and two together and come up with anything between three and five, their best move would be to call the hotline number, or even 911 and give whatever info they have - and claim they didn't know of the death at the time they gave the ride.

If they don't do that, and are found, they can be in deep, uh, poo.

So the subaru driver is not the one she was racing? In one of the reports i got the impression that she got into the car of the person(s) she was racing against after she hit....

I'd say thats more of a "beat to death" situation...
