An advocacy group wants that raised to 4 times the vehicles weight. There are 8 cars that can withstand that much, the tC being one at 4.6 times its own weight.

Wow, thats depressing. What about the a-holes posting on there though!? lol, who has such a vendetta against a specific car brand? I'd be willing to bet that tC owners are nailing every one of their girlfriends. How else can you explain the hate?

I know of one ScionLife member that rolled his tC and he walked away with barely a scratch... strong roof indeed.

Brand loyal tuner boys.. they suck **** to anything that has to do with "their" brand of car and hate all others. Pretty much the most un-intelligent portion of the car culture

I have been to a website with pictures of Tc's that have been wrecked. 672 pictures. But i can't remember where i found it though. But i can say that out of 672 pictures there were only a handful that i wasn't really sure anybody walked out of it. The car crashes really well. The main seat area stays intact. I got rearended in my Tc and i hardly felt anything, but the guy who hit me said it felt like he hit a ton of bricks.

try gooogling it.

you know... part of the reason there may be so many of these could be due to the crappy stock tires that are on the tC... I was holding on for dear life when I was driving in the rain the other day... I could feel the tires start to hydroplane at speeds under 30 MPH... and they are not that much better in he dry either...

let me put it this way I have totaled 2 tc"s already. I'm on my third one. I had an IIP and another RS1. Neither one of them were my fault one was caused by someone running a red light and the other was because a lady ran a stop sign. Both times I hit them going about 45-55 and I was perfectly fine. Hence buying them over and over again LOL
