Hey guys, looking at the first gen, and loving the prices. But the second gen seems newer and nicer, and more expensive. Is there a better deal with the first gen? And, is performance comperable to the second gen? Surely the second gen can't be that much more faster, and I am not talking about the supercharged or turbocharged TRD or GR packages or whatever. I am new to the tC family, but I know people who own them, and they love them. I would like to own a piece of history if it isn't too much for this old economy car, or econobox, or whatever it's called. It just looks like a super cool Toyota tuner to me. If you go 1st generation, try to avoid years 2007, 2008 and 2009. Unless they've had the oil consumption fix, they're oil burners.
