tC Header Cover?

tC Header Cover?

Kind of a dumb question... Do you even need that header cover or can you just strip it off?

no, you just unbolt a couple bolts and take out the 02 sensor then take it off and put the 02 sensor on and your good to go. If you search on here it will tel you and prolly show pictures...its farely easy

You don't 'need' it, but the stock exhaust manifold looks like crap without it. Paint or polish it, if you don't like the way it looks stock...

its not a cover its a heatshield and its there for a reason

ive been lurking on scionlife forever, and i think every once in a while someone will ask about the header cover because (like me) they live in CA or some other state where they're afraid a cop will pop their hood and see an aftermarket header there. ive been pondering getting a MMW header in there and hiding it with the header cover, but i don't know if that's possible.

anyone try that yet?
