tC Headlight Bulb Sizes
Find a decent kit with Phillips ballasts (still having problems with my McCulloch ballasts).. for clear white, go 4500K... for white with slight blue tine, go 6500K range.
A really good kit shouldn't cost more than 350-400... You can and will find deals out there for 250 or so and some of them are legit, but always check the manufacturer.
As for the mirror signals... no freaking clue. But I'm sure it involves dismantling the entire mirror assembly so you can remove the glass and unscrew the cover from the inside of the housing... sounds like a pain. I think the orange signals look pretty good- it keeps it more on the sophisticated (Mercedes) side rather than the rice side, but to each his own.

I'd say an hour, max. You won't wanna cough up dough to let someone else do it unless your totally don't know what you're doing. Have a friend help you that is inclined if you are not.
as for the mirror bulbs.... has anyone thought of taking the glass part of the mirror off?... i wouldn't be suprised if you just take that off and the back of the socket for the light is visable

that's probably the way to go.. but they're LEDs... so you're gonna have to screw with the hardwiring more than likely
yeah, i've been looking into that and I think there's going to be more of 'disecting' the mirror, instead of just swapping bulbs. But about the guy who asked about 'clearing' out the mirrors.... heh, aren't they 'clear' already???
i tried to swap out the license plate tag bulbs today. and i didn't succeed(dont want ot break anything :D ) well, in order to get to the blub, i have to go inside of the hatch door and removed some covers. and the blub socket wouldnt come out. i do not want to break anything. so any of you guys know the proper way of taking out the bulbs. i have already done all the interior lights to superwhite and about to buy some silverstars(i decided not to get HID's) i am only asking because i plan on putting on super white blubs. yellow is just ugly

I read a tech page about taking the hatch apart.. You're suppost to start by removing the white plastic piece at the top of the hatch that goes across, then the sides and then finally the big piece on the other side of the license plate. I get a bit queasy when messing with the interior though becuase some require removing screws and others just pop off. The only way to know which is which is by experience and I don't wanna f- up my new car. Good luck though.
