I mean wtf is that?
Two cars that has value more than $30k has the same insurance rate with my cheap scion xB?
That's bs
we also have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, the insurance on that is cheaper than the tC also. How does a vehicle that costs 4k more, has only one airbag, is prone to rollovers, has no abs, engine immobilzer, and is one sharp knife away from being stolen about $35 cheaper per month to insure. i haven't had time to call around for better rates...hopefully this weekend

i actually had a scare cuz when they emailed me the forms, the quote was for an xA but i called and waited 30 min on hold and they said the price will not change much..

Full Coverage here is $304 for 6 MONTHS by progressive. 27 and married though. I also get like 10% discount every 6 months for paying in full so then it is around $270 every 6 months.

Farmers quoted me around $600 on my parents policy (only $200 more then my Mazda 323). Hehe the insurance lady said that the car wasn't in their database yet so they just used a Toyota Matrix

you'd think insurance comapnies use the following to quote your car ... besides your personal driving record... the make n model of the car.. safety issues..price of the car.. is it one of the most stolen cars etc... but no .. they base it soley on price n das it .. gone are all those other factors ....

To any other companies have a tC ONLINE to look up yet? I'm currently with AAA, but I think I may change eventually....I have to get my first bill though, and see if they really are hosing me.

No, I live within the city limits of a east coast city with a metropolitan population of over a million and with one of the highest crime rates in the country. Progressive just rocks! I also have never had a car accident or speeding ticket.

Just got off the phone with my State Farm agent and I'll be paying $434 every six months for full coverage with a $500 deductable. They didn't have the tC in their database, so the insurance amount was based on the price of the car. I'm in Texas.
