Ever notice that only old farts call them "old farts"? (Everyone else just calls them "old.")

And did you notice that all the old farts were posting Saturday night, while the rest of us were out partying?

(Actually, by way of disclosure, I'm over 30, so all of the above falls under the category of "jerking your chain." )

Hey SWF 05 tC, what career would that be? Selling drugs or selling your body? JK.

Default Old fart? Where?

Compared to most of you guys, I'm one of the old farts out there with a tC. :?

I got my silver, automatic tC on July 17th and have NEVER regretted it. The only strange part is that my kids (15, 19, and 21) are taking bets as to when I get my first speeding ticket. Hopefully, never... My insurance just went down quite a bit when I hit 50 in May. Love it! That, and using my CHEAP AARP membership to save me loads of money when driving cross-country are SWEET!

I'll get around to posting some great photos I took yesterday of my tC on the grass at our local city park in the evening sun. It looks incredible! Of course, some of you younger guys will like seeing my 15-year-old posing with it. Heh-heh...

I took delivery of my Flint/mica 5-speed last Wednesday. I think it's a great 49th birthday present to myself. It has the same torque and at a lower engine speed than by '98 SVT Contour, doesn't drink premium and costs less to insure. It's almost as much fun as my '74 BMW 2002. Get out your history books kids!

You sound like a xanthophobe. Don't worry, there's help for you out there:

Absolutely. It's more PC (and more accurate) for youngsters to use the term "gas-passers" when speaking of their elders.

At 102 I am just past mid-life, yet I am considering the tC--lots of room for my walker if I fold the rear seats down--suh-weeet!

I was thinking that the special "conversation area" would be just like having one o' them craftmatic adjustable beds.
