This is the spec tC you weighed?

 

Coming from a 01 Honda Civic, I can say that I love my Spec model.

Glass roof is an upgrade from nothing.
CD player that plays mp3s is an upgrade from a tape deck.
16" steelies is an upgrade from 14" steelies.
Color matched exterior trim is an upgrade from plastic black trim.
Armrest is an upgrade from nothing.
Keyless entry is an upgrade from nothing.
~160hp is an upgrade from ~117hp.

Downgrades?
Lack of cruise control, but I never use it anyways.
Lack of immobilizer/key chip. Eh so the tC loses in this department.

As you can see, for those of you who come from comparable cars, the tC Spec is retarded.
For those of you who are getting an "upgrade," the Spec model isn't a bad choice.

I'll slap on some rims and most people wouldn't know the difference between a Spec and Base model.

published weights I've seen Tc Specs vs Tc = 2873 / 2901 & 2937 / 2965

so, about 25lbs dif... I'm gonna check mine when I can.
