Tc or Truck?

We'll the FJ Cruiser backseat issue wouldn't bother me since its just me and my girlfriend. If a friend needs to tag along, I'm pretty sure there is enough room for them. If they can fit in the back of my tC then they can fit in the FJ. I looked at the new 4Runner but damn its expensive for the TE.

FJs are nice, buddy of mine got 1 helped him install a skyjacker 3in lift. Its a badass truck especially with the oversized tires. The problem is its not great on gas. and in the back there is plenty of room.

"newer" foresters have no room on the inside. Had one for a loaner while our (ex)Pacifica was in the shop...and it sucked. It's pretty bad when you are in a newer awd vehicle, and you prefer a pacifica over it. Now, I couldnt have taken the pacifica where I took the forester while I had it for the weekend...but I still didn't like the interior/ lack of space at all. I like the looks of the FJ's... But Its gonna be hard to find what you want, and still do well on mpg's. If I was goin for an offroad type vehicle, I'd go for an older style durango. The new ones handle like a boss offroad, but look like an angry minivan.

get a truck later when you're older... like during or after college when you start to move a lot... into a new dorm, apt., or house... the truck will be handy later... and if you're still looking at the Ranger... big FAIL... go import!!!

Keep what you have currently and save/invest your money. At your age it makes no sense financially to get a $10k car only making 500-600 a month. Not trying to be an ___, just trying to give you some good advice.
