WRX man all the way. Honestly, you put a quality exhaust on the car and it becomes the best sounding beast I've ever heard. I have never heard anything that even comes close to the Subie rumble

actually, not really..........
Stage 1 = $600-700 ~165 to ~190WHP!
Stage 2 = $600-700 (or less) ~190 to ~215WHP

my brother has an 05 WRX and modding the 2.5L is a bit different. But for similar $ you can easily get over 200WHP and 300WHP isnt too tough to get to either. AWD + LSD + turbo power > FWD + open diff + N/A

how about you keep the TC for a couple years, save up some money and buy an STi then... you will be glad you did in a couple years...

Ask yourself whats the purpose of this car? Point a to point b, or showing people up at a race. Id probably take the wrx only because Ive driven one with mild mods and its a blast to drive. But then again there are down sides- insurance is more, premium gas, less gas milage, at the expense of fun. If its worth it to you. Do it.

the wrx is a 2.0...anyways, i'd take the wrx anyday. that was what i was gonna get instead of the tC but insurance and gas didn't make it happen

eh, I indicated that b/c the I was thinking he was getting an 06-07MY which has a 2.5L and not the 02-05MY. Modding the 2.5L with usual stage 1 stage 2 is a little different w/ different numbers.
