Anybody else wishing that scion had included this feature? The problem w/ tilt is sure you find the right angle, but after driving a buddy's altima with the telescoping feature it was great. Wish they had included it, but it seems even most toyotas dont have it which is odd....

 

Do you mean where the steering wheel can be brought closer or farther back to you? If so, that would be a tight feature but not for this price. My Lincoln LS has that and its great when you have different people driving. Sometimes you wanna be alert and driving with it tall and close and sometimes you wanna be laid back with the wheel far back and low and your chair tilted back.

yep that is correct. i didnt think that the telescoping wheel feature, how much would that add on to the cost? I always thought it was weird, because I never saw it on most toyotas, including my fathers 02 camry xle and most other midsizes have it.

 

I had telescoping wheel on my Focus, and it never seemed to benefit me, because I was concerned that if the airbag deployed it might go off too close to my face...

 

it would be nice if there are multiple people driving one car, but i am the only one that will drive my car so i leave it where it is.

before getting my xA i test drove teh Mazda3.. its telescopic wheel was cool!! but yah, i dont really need it... and am glad our scions dont have em if the price tag would be uP.
