Default Are these really the "Factory" optional Sport Peda

I bought these from a Toyota Dealership from Ebay and this is what got shipped to me...

Atleast they aren't "One application fits all!" .. They do specifically fit the Scion tC according to the sticker on the back of the box. They just look so... cheap.. for an OEM part.

Anyways, are these what you get when you order "sport pedals" for your tC at the Dealership?

Yep.... I wouldn't get them at the dealer though... get the cheaper from sparks or mcgeorges... they just slip right on after taking the stock rubber off....

They work well

Well it was a package deal on Ebay, $139 for these pedals, OEM floor mats and OEM cargo net. Now that's a good deal.

Same as www.trdsparks.com if you bought all three... you can buy them seperately there if you don't want the pedals or such.

Upon closer inspection..

Now i'm more impressed... a "for Toyota personnel" type piece of paper/instructions inside and the pedals are molded specially for the tC (and apparently for other certain Toyota makes" .. Maybe the Camry?

Anyways, they look like quality now.

Well, no I wanted the pedals because they do look nice, it's just at first I thought I got shafted when they sent me OBX pedals in a OBX box.. I assumed Toyota was going to send an OEM box with "OBX" branded pedals.. not an actual OBX brand box too.

For reference.. someone will eventually be asking for pics on how the OBX pedals look in a real world situation.. They show up kind of dark but here they are... what a pain to install.

I didn't even use any soapy water. I got it in right out of the box. It was the easiest thing I've ever installed.

Too bad my TRD springs didn't come with instructions. Good thing SL provides torque specs.
