Default Tint one day, dent the next (pics)

Got my car tinted on Friday, looks good. 20% all around. Took it to Classic Car Wash on saturday and they dented the hood with the drier! Got a claim form, they better fix it.

i don't think you can fix that, they would need to remove the underside of the hood to get to it. carbon fiber is in the near future i'm guessing

sorry to hear about your hood, but at least you have an excuse to get a c/f hood. I'm never going to a carwash now for sure. I almost did once.

Doesn't look too bad. Try using that dent removing from the commercial for $19.95. Just place it and turn it. It's that easy!

YOUR ____ED lol. It dented right on the crease, nothing they can do about that. my dad opened his car door and hit mine and dented it right on the crease of the side panel. took it to a couple dent places said they wouldn't even try because it was right on the crease.

That's why you need to wash your car by hand.

Sorry abour your hood...Was that just from high-velocity air from a car wash dryer nozzle? I prefer hand-washing, but I have never seen a car wash drier with enough power to dry the car completely, let alone dent the car..I hope that they pay for the damage. I have thought about getting a leaf blower to dry my car at home when I wash it, but after hearing your story, I might think twice about that...

Man that would have to be some high pressure air to do that kind of damage to the hood...imagine what it would do to the moonroof(s). I'm guessing the dryer just misjudged where the hood was and hit it. The modern auto-washers around here have dryers that try to follow the contour of the car. Very cool, but obviously not perfect and I'll never take my tC to one. I took my Matrix to one a couple of times, no problems but I still don't trust them.

You're right the drier wouldnt hit it that hard, it was probably someone hitting it with their elbow or something. I didnt see it, all I know is I brought it there in pristine condition and got it back with a dent in the hood. Theyre denying it now, I called my insurance maybe they can get something out of them...
