starting in 2007 or so.. the government has mandated the direct pressure type of readout like the one in the 300M.. the indirect (via abs sensors) isnt reliable according to the government.. etc.. anyway i am glad that we have a system at all! i don't see the competition in this class have it.. do they?

It may be one of those things that automakers are required to at least have available as an option (like SAB). It's an option on the Mazda3 (comes with the Xenon HIDs - one of those odd option packages that Scion is doing away with).

I can't think of any competitors that have it standard, though. (Maybe the RSX?)
