Titanium Exhaust. **Testing Waters**
Would you be interested in an exhaust like this one here?
The price is around $2000.00, a final price has not been ascertained due to the fact we have not built the exhaust but it will look like the pictures. It is hand made and is done so with unmatched quality. If you have any comments or concerns please feel free to voice your thoughts.

Blue
After getting over my shock at the price you are suggesting, I noticed the blueing all over the exhaust. Is this by design?
EDIT: Looks like the blueing is characteristic of Titanium. I did not know that until seeing other ads.
Good Luck!

Heck yea I would be Interested but I don't have $2K to just throw at an exhaust system especially when I could just buy a TRD one which is covered by the warranty, if I remember correctly, for I think around $300

What would be the point of that? You can't see the muffler on the car. Titanium exhausts were designed to save a little weight on a race vehicle. Not factor on an Xb. $2000? I'd rather jack off a mountain lion with a handfull of cockleburrs! Other than that it does look very nice.

Slap a titanium tip on the stainless exhaust and call it a day. Cheaper and you still get the blued tip characteristic of titanium. I saw one like that from an exhaust add in SCC, greddy I think.

The blueish coloring might be the color of carbon (I'm guessing it's a titanum alloy with high carbon content) diffuse to the surface of material cause by heat during welding. If you ever overheat your stainless steel pan on the stove, you'll get similar effect.

Ok so i haven't posted in awhile.. and this is bringing me out of retirement.....
Let's take for example my old car. 1996 eclipse turbo, if I can get a HKS carbon titanium for, what the hell, MSRP (who pays that?) which is i want to say in the 850-875 range, and this is 3 " piping and its HKS (for the lable ****** out there, i'm one too so no worries) What makes me interested in your whatever size piping for a SCION? The weight savings aren't going to make much of a difference, The power differences between that and a less expensive...lets say STYLIS MANIFOLD BACK exhaust are going to be minimal... and 500 for stylis MANIFOLD back vs a $2000 exhaust........ and don't know about everyone else but I can justify it.
Hell lets even use a titanium supra exhaust. 4" piping.. $1100..

All valid points, which is why we asked the question. I like some of the comments, very creative. I know 2G's is expensive, but the quality is outstanding. The bluing is from a heat process that forces the alloy to react and cause the coloring. We have titanium shift ***** as well. It is something we do for other cars and have the ability to do for the tC, we just wanted to see if there was interest. BTW our new site is up!
