Default Toyota Dealers...

Will Toyota dealerships have Scions?... There is no Scion dealer here in Fairbanks and the nearest bigger town is 340 miles away and I am not even sure if they have a dealership either...would it be worth my while to go over to the toyota dealer?

the toyota dealership should have scions....but you might want to call them up first to double check to see if they have any on their lot or if they can order you one.

Here we have 2 Toyota dealers. One is Toyota/Lexus/Scion, the other is Toyota only, so it's anybody's guess. However, if they don't have Scion on the sign, I'd say they probably can't get you one...

ONly about 33% of the toyota dealers are scion dealers, just go to the scion website and locate one.

dude if you in Alaska you will probably be the last place in the United states to receive a Scion dealership .Try going to the toyota dealership and ordering but if you really want one you may end up putting out some big bucks.if you are in the military see about buying one in Seattle and get it shipped up on a military hop. .But good luck with it .

If you plan on buying a scion buy it from a dealer your planning to go to alot because if you planning on buying a car from that city 300 miles away and then plan on going to a dealer near you to get it fix.. there will be problems alot of problem... there was a post posted awhile ago about this problem

so the main point : buy the scion from a dealer you are able and ease to drive to often

My local Toyota dealer does not sell, or plan on selling Scions. That's fine but it means I have to drive to Las Vegas for warranty or serious problems. The local service manager told me they cannot work on Scions because Toyota has standards that a dealer must meet before Toyota will reimburse them for warranty work. It requires an investment that not all dealers are willing to meet. These include a dedicated showroom area, hiring and training to Toyota standards mechanics (pardon me, repair technicians), dedicated sales personnel, and minimum parts stocks.

I admire Toyota for this even though it causes me some minor inconvenience.
