ok i got my question answered here https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26145 and now i have another question, i was looking at the blitz supercharger and actually just got done reading a forum about it and got interested. My question--is it true that if i were to add the blitz supercharger and something happened to my engine and the dealership could not prove that the supercharger caused it to happen, would i still have my warranty. example: if it was something electrical.

It is THEORETICALLY possible that your warranty would still be in effect, but I seriously doubt that you would be able to get away with it. If they open the hood and see a big 'ol huffer, your're probably screwed. You'll have a tough time convincing anyone that your S/C didn't cause the problem.

On a side note, (In my opinion) if you can afford the huffer, you can pay for the consequenses!

good points, i would like to get a s/c because within the next couple of months im gonna be adding some stuff to my box and wanna make up the power to weight ratio but this is my first car thats had a warranty and i would like to keep that as long as possible. So i guess i will just have to go with something besides forced induction to make up for the weight. O well. Thanks again.

Here's the gist of my thoughts about mods:

You've got to pay to play.

If you mod your car, expect to pay for all repairs from there on, or do the work yourself.
