Default TWM, B&M, & TRD Short Throw Shifters

So what's everyone's opinion? I'm in the market for a short throw shifter. At the moment i'm leaning towards the TWM, only because i really want their gunmetal weighted **** and they are running a special right now for like $204 (**** included). Just let me know what u guys think all these companies. Thanks

cad455 has the TWM short shifter and I like it a lot. I like the shortened height of it. I'm not TWM's biggest fan, but they make good short shift kits. I personally don't care for the Greddy rip-off ****, but whatever you like. I think there were two tC owners who bought the ****/shifter combo and ended up selling the shift **** in the PPC section.

With the B&M and TRD kits, I believe they are stock height with a shorter throw... The TRD kit is just a simple swap in assembly, so it will be the easist install.

i got the TWM and overall i like it..the install wasnt too bad except you have to be patient in some parts, especially taking off the clip if you dont got a dremel.

I have the twm and i like it a lot. Makes driving a whole lot more fun. And if i can do the install you know it's easy... also there's a great sticky in the tech section for installing this one.

I have the TRD and it is very nice. I had a TWM on my Celica GT-S I traded for this car and it sucked compared to the TRD. The TWM is way too short for my liking.

One of my friends was the guinea pig for the TWM short shifter for the Celica GTS. His is shorter than the production model and I like it. My roommate has the TRD quick shifter for his GTS. Although it has a shortened throw, I think it's still a little too tall. Personall preference, i guess...

With the TWM shifter, can you still rest your arm on the arm rest?

I'm personally going to get the TRD shifter. The TWM looks good, but I'd rather have the stock height for better leverage and easier shifting. Either way it'll be a good purchase though.

B&M also retains stock shifter height at about half the cost of the TRD.

The TWM shifter is good and you can really feel the shortend shifts... I like it and it took me about 30 minutes to install.

I bought the B&M, it's going to be installed this weekend. If I remember I'll take a before and after pick. It looks like it tilts a bit towards the driver too.
