Check your power steering fluid level. How long has it been since you changed it?

I drain what I can with a turkey baster @ every oil change, and replace with Valvoline Maxlife Dexron III ATF.

So there is always fresher fluid running through.

LOL Nice!

but take it to the dealer for the cat..

for the steering wheel, is it at full lock? as in you cant turn it any further? It might be the sound that you are hearing is the typical sound of "strain" of the power steering when at full lock.

I'm guessing your car is almost new? The "rotten egg" smell is probably just the engine coating burning off, which is normal for a new car when accelerating harder. It should stop soon once the engine is broken in.

The steering wheel sound is probably the "strain" someone above mentioned. Most cars do this as the steering wheel reaches full lock.
