Hey

Whever my tC is ideling a small knocking/ loose sound... i have no idea what it is, when i rev m y car to 2k or even 3, when the engine is winding down the sound is really noticaable? I have no idea what it could be anyone got any clues????

 

Your best bet.. goto the dealership and see about it.. you might have bearing failure or something jacked up.. go.. go now.. right now.. JP, good luck though.. keep us updated.. and DEF let me know if its bearing failure.. thanks!

I heard the same noise an it ended up being my timing an serpenten belt (sp). I know this may sound crazy but the way i would describe the sound was if you had a glass jar filled with water an put a metal ball in it an shook it lightly :-) Hope that helps.

Could be a "lifter tick" but that usually only happens on older engines. I think whoever said go to the dealership and have it checked was right...probably the best thing you could do.
