Default What is the baseline HP to the tC

What is the HP to the wheels of the tC?? The xB HP is 94 to the wheels and to the flywheel is 108. So I would need to know what the baseline is for the tC. Anyone know? This might be a head scratcher for a while.

We already know that the xB is at 94 baseline to the wheels, but I want to know if anyone knows the baseline for the tC.

There have been three sets of dyno charts posted that I can recall:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...highlight=dyno - 149.9hp 145.5 torque

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...highlight=dyno - 130hp 141 torque

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...highlight=dyno - 143.08hp 151.30 torque

Even the same brand and model of dyno can differ, so the best way to get a baseline and figure out how much you gain from mods is to run it before and after on the same dyno. As a ballpark estimate, a stock tC should have something close to the range of numbers presented above. (The 130/141 numbers ware corrected for altitiude, but still seem a little low. I would expect 140-150hp and 143-153 torque.)

I guess the 94hp xB number is an average of a number of cars that were dyno'd.

I haven't seen a dyno of the tC showing 159hp.

Thanks JasonH, I hope I can work with those numbers. I guess I am going to have to work with the tC in a different way.
