Basically the same reason why I suddenly wanted a new car too.

Went from earning average to earning above average and suddenly thought "ohhhh new car time!"

haha so true

a little of both for me I guess. When I crashed my 02 civic I wanted a little more power especially since my insurance gave my 12,070 for it.
how ironic! I am in the same boat as you!

Because I was still not sure of how I felt about the xB.

But that is being remedied in the coming weeks.

when i first got my 04 tiburon, that night i saw a commercial for the tc and was like WTF!!! then months later i got into an accident and my tibby was totaled. First thing that came to mind was the tc.

got it for looks, modding abilities and a lil racing.

funny thing is my freind got into an accident about the same time i did we both orderd our tc's at the same time..i got an 06 and she got an 05, she was upset lmao

I got mine because I was looking for an '06 Civic SI and all the dealers were being stupid jacking up the mark up. I decided to wait a bit for a newer car and happened to check on an Acura dealership website in the used section. I saw my tC in there for a decent price and since I needed a slightly more reliable car than the one I had, I went to check it out. The next morning I got my tC. It was used but I still saved a bit of money I feel, plus I know I won't have the car for that long.

who the hell buys a tC for speed?

hate to break it to you, but our cars are not fast by any means... and you'd have to spend so much money on it to make it fast, you would have been better off buying a more expensive car...

^^^ Not "Fast", no!! But they are very quick there are only about 3 or 4 N/A 4 bangers that are faster, and 2 of them have the same motor (06 civic si, and rsx-s) and the s2k has a racing motor that goes to 9 grand and has a different air/fuel ratio. (Forget about the exotic 4 cyl., they don't count here)

Id say "fast" for a 4 banger but only "quick" in a general sense
