I don't know. I think the car is pretty cheap. Comparatively, anyway. About the cheapest car I think you can get is a like a Chevy Aveo, and I think they're about $10-13. We're not far off, but we get a lot of bang for our buck because the panoramic sunroof is stock, and it does have a lot of styling to it. Plus, the sound system is not completely horrible, but I don't know what the bottom stock one sounds like because I have the premium package. I paid about $22,000 (I think, with taxes), and it is definitely cheaper than that $30,000+ I was thinking about dropping on the new Camaro. I had decided just wanted an A to B car with a nice warranty, but when they delivered the RS, I was impressed. Although, over time, there are those things like you are like "why don't I have that??!/why did they design it this way??!".

I'm on the boat with the wanting a couple of extra gears, too. That's one of the few things I like about the 2011.

 

i wonder if anyone tought about changing the actually tranny to a 6 speed like a swap,i mean i been hearing people switching the motor to a v6 and etc,i dont see why the tranny cant be switch to something else or will that have and affect on the actuall car the way it drives

 

I'll trade a 6th gear for just a taller 5th

I would have to say the fact that it's an automatic. I'm learning more and more each day how much power a manual can hold vs. an auto. I had no idea when buying my tC. But, I am completely clueless about driving a stick.

 

I dont like how it get scratches and dents easily.

 

i dont like the front glass that pops up wen i open the sunroof, im gonna find a way to keep it down

The engine sucks ***** when it comes to power gain. i wished that it had more power expandable capabilities with FI mods.

a couple of people have discussed it and even less have tried. The one guy that was almost successful in swapping the transmission from a corolla XRS (the previous gen not the current one) wrecked his tC before he could finish it.

 

no 6th speed

 

NO rear window wiper...

 

how you can feel every god damn bump on the road.......

 

-its too damn heavy... it should weigh around 2600-2800 lbs IMO with the same 2az motor.

-no rear windshield wiper

-automatic 4 spd, needless to say more

-for the manuals i dont like the placement of the shifter, nor the way it looks

-i should be getting better mileage with a 4 banger

-stock ride height is a bit too high

-2.4L engine should be making more than 160hp...

 

dislike the wheel pattern.. prefer 5x114.3 ..

 

gas mileage and the fact that too many people have it

 

Cheap paint - Lots of scratchs/nicks
cheap glass- Lots of nicks

Other than that i really like the car for its price. People can't sit here and complain about things like power. You should have known what you were getting before you bought the car.
