Default What do you think is a fair price for my 2005 tC

I'm putting my tC out on the market, I just haven't been agressive on it... quite frankly I can keep it for months but I kinda wanna buy a beater truck and pay off my R fast.

Either way nada and kbb point me well into the mid 15's.... I don't see the need in asking that much.... I was thinking 14,800-15,000.

Here it is

2005 tC (the blackest black, forgot the code)
36,1XX miles (too much highway, live in NC went to my parents in NY alot)
Original owner
NO MODIFICATIONS
Never smoked in
Full service records from Rick Hendrick Toyota, Fayetteville NC

The only flaws is like 3 tiny little dings, that only stand out because it's black.. I had a technician check them out and they can be removed paintless, no bondo or anything, it's real minor.

And one wheel has some rash on one portion of the outter rim which I was told would buff out easily.

Besides that, it's a good car.. it's never gave me a problem but when it comes down to it I have to choose the R over this.

let me know what would be a "fair" price to ask..... remember i'm not a desparate seller, it can take months as far as I care.

You can't get KBB value, kbb is crap!

You should go to www.edmunds.com and click on used cars and then appraise car. I put in 2005 tc with 36000 miles with a base model, i dont know your options, and it gave a private value of $12,744

Who uses edmunds, banks and dealerships don't so why should I?

I've never seen a tC sell for even in the 13's yet, not even on AutoTrader.

Actually dealers do not use KBB, they use black book which is closer to edmunds.

Take your car to a dealer for a trade-in i bet they offer about $11,700 plus whatever options you have.

In auto trader you don't actually see what cars are selling for, that is the price they are asking for.

What options do you have?

I've always known people to use NADA, but i'm sure that's not the same for everybody.

I'd keep it before I sold it for anywhere in the 13's..... I'm not trading it in, that's a even worse ripoff.

Either way I live in a town with 50,000 army dudes, i'm sure I can get a reasonable price for both of us.

no options, I wanted to keep it clean.

the only thing that was an addition was side curtain airbags which added like 7 something to invoice.
