the rainbow looking colors you see is probably from the cleaner they used to clean the headlight. kinda like when you try to wash off an oil stain from your driveway you can see the same affect.

 

To me, that looks like the "UltraViolet" coating popular in the Honda scene. It sort of went out of fashion when all the projector upgrades came out.

I believe it comes in a spray can, but I don't know much about it, other than it's basically the same thing as 'UV coated' sunglasses--only without the tint.

Our stock headlights don't have a sheen like that. Trust me. I polish mine every time I wash my car with a clear plastic detailing fluid.

 

thanks Somnambulated. i think that's what i was looking for. my friend's accord had the same look back in the day. i just wanted to ask and see if anyone else knew bout that tint stuff.
