You can get silverstars practically anywhere - Walmart, toyota dealers, autozone, kragen, pep boys..

At the moment, I am running Luminics JDM Yellow headlights. My 'spare' set is the Silverstars.

ATTENSION!!!!!!! I went to Wal-Mart and got the $37.00 Silverstar High beam lights. I pulled one out of the car and compared the two (nut much difference) I then looked at the Sylvania part #s on the back. They are the same except for a ST on the OEM bulb. I Called Sylvania and the said the ST is a OEM designation and the bubs are the same. Do not waste your $$$$$$$ in the Silverstar. For those that already have, Sorry.

Replaced the headlights with "Pro 1 Top Speed Xenon HID Blue" (Low and High) Plus that parking light (in the bottom of the headlamp) with a blue-white 194. Looks nice, No, they're not as bright as true HID lights or the stock ones in some ways but they illuminate the road differently. May be ricey in some ppl's opinion but i pefer the blue/white Xenon's to Halogens.

Custom inerior lighting ... Cold cathodes under dash, under seats; LED's in front/rear cupholders.

Next is LED dome/courtesy lamp bulb replacements.
and that acc. box light.
Then when i get some help, i'll replace the gauge, center console and hopefully radio amber/orange lights to a crisp blue as well.
Cheap mods now, just for fun. More expensive ones later (performance)

how are HIDs pointless? a retrofit can be done to near oem spec, which will help light up the road much better than stock and give the driver a better idea of what's ahead. i fail to see how properly installed and aimed lighting is pointless.

Hey, you have pictures of comparison between stock, your Hyper White, and your Ultra Violet? I'm curious to see.

Thx,

BTW, I have Thunder GP 7500k's in my low beam, Thunder 8500k in my high beams and foglights. I really love these lights! The total package was $78, shipping included to Hawaii.

On a side note, I just baught 9006 silverstars from walmart before I got the thunders, and I compared the two... It looks so much like a halogen light! I can't stand the yellow hue! It just looks yellow compared to the Thunder 7500's, which look really white and are brighter... and no, the Thunder's don't glare.

We have numerous pictures of our bulbs on an assortment of vehicles and street bikes. Currently we do not have any pictures of our bulbs on any Scions but we did sponsor 18 different ones last Friday so by the end of this week im thinking we should have a handful of pictures to post on this site.

If you would like to see pictures of our bulbs in action on other vehicles to get the basic idea what they will look like please email us at

I'm toying with going all out Lumincs JDM yellow on my BSP, being a 'european' I rather like yellow lights, and from a practical standpoint they do function better than lights that are at the bluer end of teh spectrum.

If I had money to burn, I'd be looking at PIAA's 'Crystal Ion' bulbs, the bulbs are blue'ish color but they give off a crazy intense yellow (but $120+ for 2 bulbs just wrong).

BTW: Anyone got/seen any pix of a BSP TC with yellow bulbs?

OK, full set (mains/highs) Luminics JDM's just ordered.

My plan will be to document the fit (not hard, but why not).

I'm also planning on doing one side at a time, then at the half way point, I'll get a ton of pictures. They should proof to be a useful comparison on brightness (unless of course there are issues with the new bulbs needing time to warm up and become fully bright).

But hell, it's worth a try.

(at the same time, I just ordered 20 high intensity red LEDs to do the 3rd brake light, nothing new, but the write up on here, used 5 LEDs and you could see them, so I fiigured double the number and we might have something that looks more stock - photo's as soon as it's done.)
