Where do you get the transmission oil and what brand name r u using?

I'm using AMSOIL but I also trust Royal Purple and redline as well. All 3 are very good products.

 

Whatever came with the car, but I'm going to be changing the tranny fluid soon and looking pretty hard at Redline.

 

i highly discourage royal purple when it comes to transmission oil, i've heard lots of bad things about those.. im thinking of changing mine soon, i choose redline

 

what about for the automatic transmission?

 

dang really? ive heard alot of good things about it ..well people tell me its good stuff..what have you heard?

 

royal purple transmission oil is too thin and would wear the tranny and someone mentioned that it has that lil particles that would leave residue on the tranny, some said that it only good to run it like one time for very few miles just to condition the tranny and then change it.. there is a thread on that before, i cant really remember the exact details but its something like that.. but for motor oil, royal purple is one of the best..

 

So whats good for Auto Tranny Oil?

should i get Red Line Synthetic Oil 50304 ???

 

i was told mobile synthetic 5000 or something like that for auto. not sure as i am used to just having the shop do it for me ( i'm too lazy n busy to try to do it myself)
