What would you do?
i've driven both the super and turbo charged TC's and the supercharged almost feels stock, not much change. Personally i would go with the turbonetics turbo, but wait a while. i was talking with some of the people at turbonetics and they were saying that they're working with scion to make the turbo workable with the warranty. This is just my opinion, but didnt like the supercharged one. and a sound system...who cares unless you're into show? GO TURBO!!!
^^^oh damn,,,that would be awesome if turbonetics could pull that off. i prolly wont get my kit till fall anway, hopefully by that time they will reach an agreement with the turbo and the warrenty
I had a similar dilemma several years back when passenger side airbags were options instead of standard equipment.
i was buying a german car that offered one of the very first six disc cd decks at almost the same price as adding a passenger side air bag.
i was married at the time and thought "you know what? i oughta consider which of these upgrades to add".
i asked if it would be okay for my wife and i to test drive a car equipped with the the cd player as i slammed it into a center divider.
dang dyslexia.

figure in the price of premium gas...
don't bother with the audio system, it's so much cheaper to go after market, plus it will most likely sound better.
oh and also figure in the cost of a nice pair of tires...and some speeding tickets and a new clutch

I Still say stereo. The reason why is i have been seeing problems in the S/C with the pully shaft leaking oil. It is on this site. I would wait a while, they may come out with a upgraded S/C. Waste your money on somthing that will work. But at the same time they do have warrenty's but i would not want my s/c leaking on me after 5,000 miles. Or if you just want power start with the little things first. Intake, exhaust, header, etc. So when you have a S/C it will feel amazing.
^^^^
He'd be throwing his money away if he went on a N/A set up then switching to a F/I set up.
Like everyone has said, the s/c has the warrenty. So with the warrenty why are people afraid of buying the s/c. If it leaks oil due to a seal or what ever. Then its covered and you are not out anything.
If it leaks oil, and you added the 9 lb pully on it. It is your fault for tampering with it in the first place........
Do what makes you happy, Since you want both. All I'm saying is: Its easier to save 500 bucks, than it is to save 3,500 bucks.

I love how about 3-5 people (who modified their supercharger with a different pulley) have an oil leak and all of a sudden people have been "seeing problems" with it. I have a s/c, no problems, lots of torque, lots of fun... Go get the supercharger and have fun!
