wow, whatta diff in cars/trucks....
you actually considered a truck when looking at tC?
I considered a truck, a X-Runner that is But it was on a long list. I knew i wanted the tC though.

I looked at these cars but in no specific order: 06 XRS Corolla, 06 Civic Si, 06 X-Runner, 03-05 WRX, and last but not least the new VW GTI.

Was considering a Cobalt SS

but then i told myself that i need the car to last as long as the finance period.

Nevertheless, scrapped that idea, and bought a tC

I considered the Cobalt SS but it was delayed and I needed a car. My cousins bf has the Ion Redline. Its a good car and I wouldnt worry about it not lasting. My issue with that is the stupid IP and huge body gaps. I know they have to be bigger cause plastic expands but my old Saturn didnt have gaps that big.

First choice was Honda Civic Si and second choice was Scion tC. I am getting Scion tC because I can afford it. Civic Si is too expensive.

First choice WRX STI

Second Choice Civic SI

Thrid Choice TC

But still think the TC is the best buy of the year and much potential, but I'll probably end up selling it to my little brother in two years for his first car. Love my TC

rsx....after deciding not to get it, the acura dealer told me "stop by a hyundai dealership and test drive one of those so you don't feel so bad about getting a scion.." hah, if he only knew how much i love this car.

04 civic started giving me problems (probably all that autocrossing/abuse coupled with the plastic transmission bearing cages), so i started looking for a new car. 06 wrx wagon was my first choice, but after about a month looking at them, i almost signed the papers on one, but then i realized that is way to much for a car, especially since i am still in school.

so i looked some more, drove the mazdaspeed6, it was more than the wrx, then looked at the new civic si, awesome car, but the markup was ridiculous, and i got in an argument with the honda sales manager about how they shouldn't markup the car $4500 dollars (it said $4500 regional market adjustment), but he insisted that so many people were looking at it and someone was going to buy it for sure at that price. it is still sitting there to this day.

so i went to the toyota dealer(s) and found what i wanted, an 06 fm tc, but the dealer that had that one was unprofessional, so i went with a silver car again, and ended up with the csm tc from the other dealer in town. i never thought i would like a fwd car this much, but the tc is awesome, especially considering my monthly payment (and term) is lower after parting out the civic for a down payment. and i know toyotas are good, my parents have an 03 tundra, an 00 sienna, and an 85 old school pickup.

only thing wrong is the drivers seat, makes this popping every time i accelerate and get pushed back into the seat. dealer looked at it, i guess the track is coming apart from the seat, so they zip tied it together for now and ordered a new seat.

I was up to the tc and the Mazda3.

I took the tC becuase it had glass roof, nicer wheels, more comfortable seats, and it wasn't a Ford. The one things that kept me going back and forth were the factory navigation and the steering wheel audio controls on the Mazda3.

I am glad I took the tC, it is a great car at an awesome price giving room to make it your own. My friends who purchsed a Mazda3 and Mazda6 the same time I got my tC have been having problems since day 1.

I was ____ed when the 2006 tC was released with steering wheel audio controls... that was the one thing I really wanted on my 2005.

06' Honda Civic Si

- 6 speed trany (would have been nice)
- RSX engine
- LSD!!!!!!!!
- Stock 19's

Only problem was they didn't make enough this year and dealer employees were getting first crack at em. At least they were around here. I havn't even seen on on the road yet and they've been out for 4 months now.

tC was my second choice also. I was looking at the black or silver Infiniti G35 coupe. But since my new job is so far away and I commute I took the tC SSM. As soon as my new house is built near my new job the G35 is going in the garage 1st day.
