Default wheel fitment - other cars

Hi guys,

I am a co-owner of a 2011 tC. The car is my gf's primary method of transportation and we have been very pleased with the car thus far. With winter approaching, I thought I would be pro-active and pick up a used set of wheels (the 2011 comes with 18"s so I figured maybe a set of 17"s or even 16"s would do the trick).

Without doing much research (yes, I know...), I began checking a few things and found a really good deal of a set of 17"s take offs with about 400 miles for what I thought was a GREAT deal...so I bit and brought them home.

Upon further research, I found out the 17"s out of the tC1 would not fit on our tC2. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed. Due to the great deal I got on them, I am not greatly concerned about being able to sell them at the same price, but I wanted to see if there was a thread or post that listed all of the different brands and MY vehicles these wheels would fit on. From what I have gathered, they will fit on:
- Toyota Prius (not sure of the years)
- Toyota xD (not sure of the years)
- Toyota Matrix (not sure of the years)
- Possibly Pontiac Vibe (this is my assumption based on the Matrix)
- Some Corollas

I am not positive of this information and would like to double check before I posted a FS ad. I am very new to the boards and it is also my understanding that I have to be active for 14 days and have a minimum of 50 posts so I will continue to learn about these great cars on the meantime. I will probably post an ad for sale here soon and maybe one on my local CL since it would be easier to sell to a local and not have to worry about the shipping expenses.

Yes, I have made this long enough... If someone could provide an accurate list or point me to a thread in which this is possibly being discussed on the past, that would be greatly appreciated. I searched some but could not find a good list.

Thanks a bunch!!

Angel
PS: these are the wheels BTW....

I believe they are the stock ones that come on all tC1s as I have seen them on most of them...

Thanks again!

The Gen1 wheels will fit on a celica, the last model they made, not sure which generation it was.

Also, you need 50 posts to be able to make a FS thread in the classifieds, just FYI

Any car that's 5x100 bolt pattern. Done. I have these on my 89 Celica GT-S, only the GT-S models from 86-89 MY run 5x100, and add the 88-89 All-Trac to the 5x100 list.

You don't need a fitment thread, there is google for that.

Also most Toyota 5x100 will transfer over to other Toyotas with 5x100 with very few exceptions.

The only problem comes when you try to transfer 5x100 Toyota rims to other vehicles with 5x100.... and NOT consider the backspace, hub bore, offset... THEN you're screwed!

Again, verify with google and it's faster than searching for a buried thread about fitment guides.
