you have to get a smog test already? is it after 4 years you need a smog test? if you dont pass you can always buy an unmodified stock airbox on ebay or the classifieds, or barrow one just for the test.

That sucks. You should just move to texas where its not that big of a deal. my car would fail emissions instantly in Cali before even poping the hood just from the smell of my exhaust. If i got busted driving my car in Cali, it would probably be towed away. I have no cat for the exhaust, non CARB approved turbo system, breathers instead of a fully functioning PCV system, etc.
