why people do this...
I witnessed a lady t-bone my moms cts than drive off in her van, leaking oil and with one tire deflated. I chased her on the hwy - dont know how she made it, but she made it to the next town outside of OKC on I-44 (Newcastle) - I had the cops on the phone and as soon as I followed her into Newcastle I had 3 cops behind me - I just moved out of the way and they pulled haer ___ over. It was awesome - pulled her out of the car threw her on the ground n everything! She ended up having a) no license b) no insurance and c) warrants. My family sued her and ended up getting a judgement for like $15,000 in the end - to tell you the truth I dont know if its ever been paid or not :/ Of course my mom had full coverage and her insurance paid for the damages.
throw rocks at her. big ones!
its girls like her who give other girl drivers a bad name.
i had this happen to me, in a previous car, slightly different though and it was an older woman.
Was at work (already been there for 4 hours) and a co-worker came in and said a truck had crammed the front end of my car in and was still sitting there.
I went and got the tag number on the truck then went to the neighboring establishments and no body was claiming the truck. I ran back inside to call the cops and got back outside to take pics when the person walked to the truck at the same time and tried to leave! I warned them I already had the tag number (which they knew because they had been someone I directly asked!) and the cops were already on the way. THEN they were trying to say my car wasnt there when they pulled in, but a coworker was already outside as a witness saying I was there already HOURS before they were.
Needless to say I had to get a whole new bumper and paint and fog lights, blinkers, had a cracked headlight (that didnt get replaced IDK why?) and they had to re-adjust my my front bumper support.
And there was not a scratch on their stupid truck.

Bro show no remorse girls like that are snobby and dont care just think what wouldve happened if you didnt follow or confront her ? NOTHING rip your bumper off and take her for as much as possible jail time if you can make her pay MUUHAHAHAHAHA!

Make sure you leave the car and bumper as is. Don't try to touch up paint it or adjust it. If you have full coverage, report it to your insurance as a hit and run and include the vehicle information and license plate. Keep checking in with the police and let the situation play out.
She may get caught and her insurance (if any) will pay for the damages.
Your insurance should pay for the damages to be fixed if you have full coverage. And it should fall under uninsured motorist (maybe even without full coverage) meaning you won't pay more than the deductable and rates will not increase. With that being said - it might be cheaper for you to just fix the damages on your own. This happened to me and they never caught the guy. My duductable was $500 and I only paid $200 to have the bumper re-painted at a local shop so I just left the insurance out of it.
But in summary: Keep contacting the police and push them to catch her. The have her tag number so they can get an address. Her insurance will cover it. Best way to go.

o ok thanks for that info jasper. the cop who took my report said they would contact me within 7 days so ill wait that, then ill start calling them.
its crazy that this type of thing has happened to a lot of people based on some of the other stories you guys have posted.
anytime someone is backing up around me Im checking their license plate now because I get paranoid haha.

School parking lots are the worse. A girl at my school destroyed the rear end of Honda with her truck and just drove away with everyone in the parking lot to witness since classes were over. If you don't want to go the legal route I say find her car again and open up a bottle of water in her gas tank.
you gotta milk it and say your neck hurts or something. if she was laughing at you when the cops were there i'd turn it into the biggest ordeal ever. ignorant girls at college get away with too much. i've been hit twice in one semester but had to live with it because there are no cameras in the garages at school.
Actually, I just called the cops last night around 11 pm, because 3 punks across the street were throwing rocks at my house/cars.
First, they ding-dong-ditched...I went outside, made sure the wifes camry was locked. As soon as I came in I looked outside, only to see 3 kids run out of the house across the street and start throwing crap towards my house. If it were only once, I wouldve let it go... But they continued over, and over. I busted out the video camera, and called the sheriffs dept. I just had my rs3 repainted a few months ago to repair **** that other aholes had done to it.
