Sorry fer the accident.
The good thing about this is that since the cost of the TC is fairly low, it's most likely totalled...and now you can go out and get a new TC rather than drive a salvaged one. It'll cost a bit of money, but it shouldn't be a huge chunk of change. Nothing unmanageable.

At the very least, this can be a lesson for others:
Keep the proper distance or this will happen to YOU -- modern cars are designed to buckle in front at low impact.

I think the slideing problem might of been more the stock tires. I so can't wait to wear them down and get new ones. Probly will do so before I need to. Though the have alot better grip than the stock Dunlaps they put on my Mazada P5, now those tires sucked.

Sorry to hear about your car. Allso you didn't mention what area it was in and if it was wet out/rainy/dry/night. So alot of factors could of caused you to slide into her.

Sorry it happened, I get people who ride with me always complain that I keep too much distance between me and the car in front. Well, I guess it's not that bad after all ;)

Stop saying that you werent following her too closely. You were. Period. The damage from the other car impacted your car at a high upward angle meaning that she was still in the process of braking hard. You screwed up, youre an inexperienced driver of barely 1.5-2 years tops. You may think you werent following too closely but obviously you were.

From the way the cars radiator support is bent Id estimate you hit her going at least 25mph or more.

Argue with me all you want. My uncle owns a body shop and Ive grown up around there since I was young. I know what causes cars to look like they do after accidents....
