its not that heavy.
id say maybe 5 lbs for the OEM deadening.
but i did take off 3 layers of eDead V.1 and all that liquid (which will be 1 gallon worth when its all off)
so that "saved" me alot of weight. haha, saved...yea right.
i have to say, its def. gotten louder in the car already though.
On a scale of 1-10, how hard/time consuming would it be for a beginner to add more deadening material? Im impatient, if it takes an hour just to take out the seats im going to strangle my left pinky.
Not liquid or anything, just sheets, I think a friend told me its $20 a sheet as well, dont know if he was on the same page as I was but thats what he said. Basically want to cover the areas where road noise would come in most and whatever areas to make my car quieter. One extra layer makes how much of a difference?
How much would this actually cost too?

hahahahahahaha^
i think its a little bit of both at this point.
neb, im taking out the deadening because i just dont want it anymore, its useless for what i plan on doing, and i put it on so thick i was doubting whether or not i would even be able to get my panels back on.

it took my friend and I about 2 hours to take off all the sound deadening on my car, luckily I didn't take the route of adding more, it was just the OEM. it was DEFINITELY a pain, but we only used like 4 lbs of dry ice not 10 haha, it looks hideous if you don't repaint the interior though once you get all of it out.

yea, taking the OEM deadening out is a breeze.
i def. couldve got away with 5 lbs of dry ice but o well, its only like $2 a lb.
Obsolute, the primer is just Duplicolor self etching primer, idk if im going to paint it, theres no point really because i should be getting my panels back soon so itll just get covered, i just wanted to primer it at least so the bare metal wasnt exposed and didnt get rusty.
