Ack, I have had my Ground control springs on my car car for at least the last 50k and they look about like CSOCSO's. I just swaped out the tires and took a look at everything for this weekend, and they still look fine. I would not be too happy with them if i was you. That is not acceptable.

Good luck.

Sorry for the late reply... I got an email back on Friday afternoon from Drew... but he didn't say anything other than asking for my phone number. And I replied back within about 20 min but never got a call that day. So I'm expecting to hear some time on Monday.

In other news... first autox event tomorrow!

So here's what I just got in an email from Drew:

First, I would like to get the springs back. Front the pictures, it looks like a coating issue. I can send you a call tag to get the springs back. Then, I can credit the value of the springs towards the purchase of the sway bars. Or I can send you a new set of springs. Please let me know.
So I might get a new set of springs out of this... we'll see. Good thing I saved the bad ones though.

Will keep you posted.

Well at least they are taking care of it for you, that is important, but it doesnt mean that it wont happen again.

Oh well, good luck ACK

Ya, I'm kind of hoping they keep me in the loop if they investigate these springs when I send them back. When I send them I'm going to ask that Drew let me know if they find anything specific.

Well I wouldn't get too scared yet... this was a set made back in 2005... and I would guess it was a bad batch (like he's suggesting).
