*Help* Can my car be lowered?
Okay here's the deal. I got new rims last winter, they are 18" motegi with 45 series Nitto tires. I know, my tires aren't the lowest in profile, to be exact, the sidewalls are the same as on the stock tires. Anyways my car now sits higher than stock because of this. Is it possible to lower my car without rubbing? I'm not looking for a slam.. at the most a little below stock height. I'm thinking the max drop I could do is 1.5 all around. Can anyone tell me how I should go about measuring the wheel gap? I am getting the facotry lip installed soon and I think it would look sick if it were lowered as well.! Help please thanks... I can post pics if needed.
Hmm considering some people do 19 inch wheels w/ hotchkis drop 1.7/1.9 I think u should be okay...1.5 good drop. I personally am going TRD as i dont wanna ever scrape/rub and with add on lip u might have trouble with speed bumps/driveways.
no, you're tires with 18's are still smaller than the 19's...you're best bet if you want a 1.5" drop is the TRD springs/shocks combo, or coilovers. The H-techs are the next step lower which is about 2" (a little higher in the back though)
Here is my wheel gap.. It's not that large so do you guys think the TRD drop would be perfect or shall it be lower?
Car is dirty.. Waiting for lip kit install!
