40,000 miles and TRD springs
How much longer should the struts on my stock 2005 tC--which has 40,000 miles on it--last if i have it lowered on TRD Springs?
For obvious reasons I'd rather not spend the extra $460 on new struts but I also don't want to have to pay someone to install struts any time soon. I would do the installations myself but I don't know what I'm doing and i'm afraid I'd break something and have to pay even more money to have it fixed.

I have run TRD springs since about 15,000 miles and am now at 62,000. However, I would probably just save up for a while and install the struts too if I were starting at 40,000.
TRD is a miniscule drop so it really isn't gonna blow ur stock shocks so quickly like other springs(tein s-techs). so chances are u might not even have to change ur shocks/struts for awhile
I like them better than my current S-Techs as far as handling goes. The ride was very nice, actually.
I switched to S-Techs because I wanted to go lower but the Progress stance definitely looks good as well.
