Default Anyone have Hotchkis springs?

i'm thinking of getting the Hotchkis springs. i'd like to know from those who have them on the tC how the ride is and if you have any scraping problems. as much info. as possible helps in my decision making.

we have them installed on our shop car and we haven't had any problems with scraping. As long as you take those tall narrow speed bumps at an angle, you should be ok. Driveways and rolled curbs are aren't a problem either....as long as you have some idea of what you can take before you have to start hitting them at an angle.

Other than that, we have not had problems with daily driving under normal road conditions.

We haven't had any rubbing issues either, even with agressive driving.

i love my Hotchkis!!!

i got SOME scrapes, just cause i didnt see any holes or bumps? But the drop is nice with a good ride! i was gonna go with TRD but it wasnt enough drop, then i wanted teins, but that was too much! Hotchkis are just right!

to tell you the truth, i really dont remember the stock ride? then i was too focused on how my system sounded and messing with the HU. Im pretty sure it was ok? but i def. like the Hotchkis! I would recommend going with some better shocks, (not saying TRD is bad). just cause your drop will still stress out the TRD shocks, maybe Koni? I know their more than TRD but they wont be stressed! TRD shocks will still be good, just wear out sooner than others, but are better than stock! You'll love the ride, before i had the springs it looked like i was going off-roading in my 4x4. it looked UGLY! i hated it. the tC def. rides higher on stock springs than any other type of coupe in its class! oh yea, and no bouncing! not like the civics ive seen bouncing around the city! i saw one today pull up next to me and i started laughing! the suspension was eatin up BAD! please dont cut or heat up springs! Just buy aftermarket!

im still on stock shocks, i dont know what shocks i want to go with or if i should just go with coilovers, cause i know the Koni shocks are a lil bit pricy, so its like buying coilovers already! BUT ive heard that there were some problems with some coilovers, IDK which brand it is?

happy thanksgiving!
