and butterfly all the drop rates for springs are on page 1... so u decide what u like drop wise. the DF's are the lowest drop rear wise being -2.2. I guess that drop would look okay, if u really want to get those springs. Tanabe in general is already a coo company. Im still saving up for my s-techs.

if your worried just get something not as drastic as S-techs. a -2 all around seems good. like goldline. or Even progress springs are nice. go to page one, it has all the drop rates.

im looking to get the tein-h techs...200$ or whatever is manageable..but the added upgraded struts is an extra 400$. can anyone hear quote on how long their stock struts have lasted on the h techs? i know it varies, just looking for an approximation because i dont have 700$ to spend right now

htechs won't do much damage. since the spring rate of htechs give a better ride, i'd say you can go 50k+ miles easily. i know people on s-techs who ran stock shocks for 80k+ miles.

it's still a smart idea to get struts. if you have the bank to do it. you'll save on install if you do it at once.

and mengsta, isn't a massive drop no bueno for you if you're using it as a daily driver

if you have the bank to get struts and springs at the same time, i'd just get tein basics.
and a massive drop on a dd isn't a horrible thing to do. just pay attention to the street more. i personally know people who have a 4+" drops on their dd. it's not for everyone, but it can def be done with no problem

lol to me s-tech drop isnt massive, atleast by the looks of it. Hey i havnt driven it. but from what im on now its only a half an inch lower. and as for installs, just do it yourself. im planning to do mine myself, looks pretty easy. Oh and LOB financial aid check went through!! lip kit coming soon hahaha.

Those things look cool, but expensive as hell. As if coilovers werent pricey enough already. Vogtland should definitely be added onto the list though. One of the best suspension companies yet only few heard of.

Too bad the Roberuta kit isn't compatible with any of the coilovers made for the tC. I may eventually get a custom set made just so I can run it though. $8,000 suspension make-over FTW!

Yes and No.

Yes: I'm pretty sure the kit is only supported by select Tein coilovers like Flex, Super Drift, Type N1, and whatnot, not entry level kits like the SS and Basic (which are the only coils available for the tC at this time).

No: Hotchkis doesn't even make coilovers for the tC.

oh I beg to differ, I seen people put Roberuta Cup kits on Rsx and S2000s' so im guessing it would fit the Tein SS because the top alignment isn't much different from the Flex or Mono haha but i could be wrong

I have some contacts at Top Secret USA. I'll try and get in touch with them and see what they know about it.

I have a quick question...why do some people on this forum say to get an alignment a few weeks later after installing new springs? i mean i know a lot of honda guys who just go get one after installing suspension while some people are saying to do it a little later.
