Clanking sound question or help
I recently installed 18" wheels for my car. 225/40/18 tires 40+ is the spec if that helps.
Also I put back my stock muffler back. I'm also dropped on TRD lowering springs.
I just started to notice that everytime I go in a speed bump I hear a clanking sound from beneath the car, I did check on the bottom and it looked OK. the sound is like metal bumping to another metal.
Any ideas?

quarter panel side, definitely coming beneath the car. most of the sound can be heard at the passenger side. only happens when i accelerate or hit a speed bump.. at 5mph
That's definitely your exhaust hitting something. I would double check and make sure you've got all the metal hangars secured and you're bolted up tight to the mid-pipe.
Did you leave the aftermarket exhaust hangar on? It could be bumping up against the muffler.
