Default Creaking sound from the back

My rear suspension is making a loud creaking sound when I go over speed bumps. It started about a week ago but I'm not sure what is causing it. I swapped out my trd springs/shocks about a month ago with my factory springs and snow tires. The only other mod is a trd rear sway bar but I know that can't be the problem. Any ideas what could be causing it? I'm planning on oiling the bushings this weekend but nothing else looks wrong underneath. I have 29k miles on it.

After I oiled the rear bushings the sound went away completely.

Well it didn't seem to work. It started back up a few days later, so I have an appointment with the dealership on Saturday since it's still under warranty. I'll let you know what comes out from it.

I'm placing my bet that it's just from the rear sway being set at "race", and if you set it to "street" it would stop creaking.

Why do you say that? I did change it from street to race when I took out my trd setup just before it started, so I was thinking the same thing. But just curious if you have any info on why that would be?

It's just part of the nature of a stiff sway bar. As you remove the independence of the rear suspension, you'll get some creaking, especially when you go over uneven bumps (like driving over a speedbump diagonally). There's nothing wrong with it, as long as you don't break the end links (I think that's what they're called), which you shouldn't with a TRD sway.

It's an especially loud creaking sound, and even moreso from the outside. I'll maybe try to change it to street and see if that helps. Thanks for the info.
