Default cutting wheel studs?

is it safe to do? i have 10mm extended studs in the rear because i had 10mm spacers in the rears. i upgraded to 15mm spacers with the studs already pressed in. my problem is that my 10mm extended studs touch the back of the wheels. it seems like the spacer sits flush with the wheel but i dont want to risk the wheel not seating properly with the spacers because of the extended studs. so cutting them shouldnt be a problem right? i plan to cut about 5mm. enough to give the wheel some room and still more than oem length. thanks for the input guys.

It should be fine, but be careful not to damage the threads.
