one guy in our club has a really awesome little camera holder that attaches to the socket in his bumper for the tow hook! works great, and he said it was cheap too, but having a camera right on the bumper of the car like that is awesome!
Hellz yeah I'm sure there is a way to fab one up. I just bought one but it is taking forever to get to my place, I can't wait to use it man I'm going to make like a million videos! I scored a cheap digital camera at Target one day to use on deployments. It was an old display tucked away in the back. I budgeted for 100 bucks and it turned out to be 50 so I bought a really big sd card as well.

Thats true, well guys got my brakes, s/s brake lines done. I tried to take off my freaking clutch line and ended up rounding it out... #(%&#@!&#)!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways I had a hard time bleeding this thing man. My brakes still feel spongy but I'm not sure about the braking power. I did clean off the rotors with brake cleaner and we bleed it the old school way..... So I'm not sure any pointers? Also got my money for coil-overs so my journey of TC hood is almost done!
yeah, kanundrum is right, all you need to compete is a car with seatbelts, take everything out of the passenger cabin, including floor mats or anything that can come loose and roll around like a radar detector. battery has to be tied down, and you can't be leaking any fluids. engine has to rev well. they also tug your wheels to make sure they are on tight.
all you need in the way of safety attire is a helmet (they have loaner helmets, not rental, they don't charge for them) and proper foot wear, (closed toe shoes, not sandals or flip flops). oh, and pants are greatly appreciated too! LMAO.
reccommend you bring a hat, chair, or portable canopy if you have one (the sun can be a real killer out there), sun screen. they provide water and soda and gatorade for free, then they also have burgers, hot dogs, sausages, and grilled chicken sandwichs for like a buck to two dollars.

well, i found a perfect way to eliminate tripod mode today. while hauling three fifty plus bags of flour and a case of chicken breasts in the back of my tc today for my restaurant, i noticed that the huge increase in weight in the back made it very difficult for the car to lift the inside tire on hard turns. so there you go, add about 200 pounds of ballast to the rear of the car, and voila! unfortunately, acceleration, braking and handling take hindered.
Drax...what class are you running in? I've been told that I would be in STX, but the rules say that displacement limit is 2.0.
Here is my setup:
TRD S/C w/ stock pulley
Hotchkis sways (F/R)
MMW Headers
SS-P's w/ EFDC
Thanks

in SCCA, i would be street modified or SM for several reasons, 1. cf hood (replacing major body panel with lightweight material)
2. LSD that isn't stock
3. supercharger (stock pulley or not, adding forced induction puts you in SM)
so you would be in street modified too.

I see, so the S/C is considered an aftermarket FI part instead of a dealer option. Well I guess I have more competion than expected. Thanks for the help.
Wonder if I'll get penalized for running in the wrong class.

they won't penalize you, they'll just change the class that you compete in probably.
while it is a dealer installed option, it isn't a factory installed option, and that is what makes the difference.
if the supercharger and suspension parts and such were all factory options that were installed at the factory, then you could run in the stock classes, and probably higher than HS class, but since it isn't, you have to go to street modified.
