Hotchkis website has the instructions available to download..
It can be done with hand tools, but it will take you longer. And you do not have to support the tranny/engine when un bolting the front crossmember.

NO, the motor dosent move unless you start to severly yank on it.
Take your time and lower the cradle as strait as you can...and when you are ready to reinstall the cradle, place the jack in the center of the cradle(assuming your car is supported on jack stands) and slowly begin to raise the cradle watching to make sure all the bolts line up. Once you see a the bolts line up, put a few of the nuts on and remove the jack and make sure everything is still lining up. You dont want to use the jack to fully raise the cradle cause you can lift the car off the jack stands.

thanks for the heads up. i just went there buy they charge 145 for the front only.
i've been searching but cant find the answer to one question: why do most companies only do the rear sway bar? is there not much to gain from doing the front?

You dont have to drop the subframe all the way...

If your not experienced in doing suspension work lelt a shop do it. Best to let a shop do it that can align it when done.

i forked out the cash to have my front ST installed was worth it. either have it done right or do it yourself and mess up your car since you have to drop the front sub assembly and all.

can i use a lift that lifts the car by the wheels? i have access to that kinda lift at work, but idk if the wheels have to be off the ground for this. also do the rear wheels have to be off the grount too? i hope not cus i think it will be a hell of a lot easier to do the install on the lift.

thanks:D

no will be easier to have the frame lifted and not by the wheels. you will need to take the wheels off to access the sway bars anyway. if you have never dropped a front sub assembly before get a shop to do it.
