Getting ready to buy some parts need help!
Ok I finally got some money to spend and I'll be doing autocross and some other events and I wanted you guys to check my suspension mods etc and tell me if everything looks alright? Also tell me if something is not needed or you could suggest something else any comments are appreciated!
Hotchkis Sport Sway Bar Set = $230
Front Strut bar by Hotchkis Tuning = $137
MonsterWorks Rear Strut Bar = $120
----------------------------------------------
Total = $487
Shock & Springs Im at a standstill there are so many out there that I really have no idea what would be the best quailty/last the longest and have maximum performance!

I would but a friend of mine told me they really weren't good for street and the quality is horrible becuase they break so easily?!?! Hes more knowledgable in these subjects so I usually end up listenting to him lol.
does he have a set?? or is it word of mouth?? u can ask a few people about the set up that have it.. i personally dont have coilovers.. just springs.. so i would turn to peeps that have it.. i havent heard anything bad personally but who knows
If u are going to get springs and shocks invest a little bit more money and get Tein basic, SS or SSP. Well worth the money. The SS and SSP have Adjustable ride height, 16 levels of dampening so u can have the ride real hard or nice and smooth. and if u get the edfc u can control the dampening levles from inside the car. the basics only have ride height. Talk to Keith at illusive motorsports he can hook u up. He's around the forums.
yeah if you want to autocross than the coilovers might be your best choise get some thing with pillow ball upper mounts ride is a little harsh for the street but you can soften the damper setting to help that i have the tein ssp's with edfc and they are way stiffer than stock but handling is awsome. there are other people making coilovers for the tc just do a serch online for scion tc coilover's and you should find plenty of places to check out the spec's on all of them
Get the Teins. They are well worth it if youre gonna be autocrossing. You can check out www.jscspeed.com for a write up and also some awesome prices. If you call them they are very knowledgable as well. Tell them Joe from Peruzzi sent you. They like me....
if you look at the rear strut towers the strut brace back there would do little to nothing due to how a box is welded over them to mount the child safty seats to (and you know that thing has to be tough) and same for the front especialy as flimsy as the hotchkis is.
just get there sways and some coils for the same price unless you want the BLING factor then get the strut braces
and like it was said up above s techs not for comfort lol its harsh but i like it better then the trd's but then again i care little to none about comfort
